LOPS THEATRE

The Society was formed in 1952 and has performed a variety of shows each year since then.

Our members are of all ages and backgrounds and new members are always welcome to audition for our shows. Our season commences in early September with music rehearsals. Auditions for principal parts are held a couple of weeks later, and the show week is following April.

Rehearsals take place each week and dance rehearsals start in January. 

Our shows are performed at The Little Theatre, Dover Street, Leicester. This is owned and run by The Leicester Drama Society and has all the facilities and technical equipment of a professional theatre. It boasts a 349 seat auditorium with a wonderful atmosphere.
